Ghana’s Electoral Commission has described as baseless and unfounded a viral video suggesting that the Commission has denied security agencies the opportunity to register in the special voting exercise slated for Tuesday, December 1, 2020. The commission in a statement said the contents of the video are false and should be dis-regarded.

Meanwhile as election tensions heat up, some security analysts argue officers should be fitted with body cameras to ensure all events are captured.
