Economist and Dean of the University of Ghana Business School, Professor Lord Mensah has chastised the Finance Ministry over its concerns that the Human Sexual and Family Values bill which prohibits LGBTQ activities, when signed into law will have revenue implications for the country.
The finance ministry had in communique to President Akufo-Addo urged him not to assent to the bill because it could limit funding from the Bretton wood institutions like the World would bank that could have dire consequences on the country’s budget.
