A Senior fellow of the Ghana Center for Democratic Development CDD, Prof Takyiwaa Manuh is demanding a swift investigation by the University of Ghana into the recent abuse of an individual at the University for allegedly being gay be expedited.
The incident is coming at a time when Parliament is seeking to pass the Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021 that aims to criminalize the activities of the LGBTQI+ community.
