Gambian diaspora concerned about slow pace of electoral reforms

Gambians in the diaspora have expressed concerns over the slow pace of the processes of reforms by the country’s electoral umpire, the Independent Electoral Commission, which will allow them vote in the upcoming general elections in December 2021.

They called on President Adama Barrow to fulfill his 2016 campaign promise to in ensuring that Gambians in the diaspora – which is the 8th region of the country, cast their votes in the much-anticipated election.
