The trial of alleged coup plotters in the Gambia began on Tuesday afternoon at the country’s high court.
The prosecution witness accused alleged ringleader Sanna Fadera of wanting to overthrow the government because of the presence of the ECOMIG forces.
He allegedly told his alleged co-coup plotters he intended to usurp the Barrow-led government because of the conditions of the army.
