The Gambia Thursday launched the National Codex Committee (NCC), a body tasked with the responsibility of ensuring food safety and quality.
This comes at a time the country has realized a decline in the exportation of her main cash crop groundnut due to aflatoxin and seeks redress to ensure the quality and safety of all foods produced by the country either for local consumption or exportation.
