The Gambia Government has launched a provincial phase of rice distribution worth over 4 million Dollars to vulnerable families in the country.
This comes after the capital Banjul and its surroundings benefitted a food rations from the government in collaboration with the World Food Programme.
Over 300,000 people in rural Gambia will receive 50kg broken rice for four months in response to Covid-19 pandemic.
