A chartered Air Côte D’Ivoire aircraft carrying the Gambian national team encountered technical difficulties on Wednesday, shortly after departing from Banjul International Airport.

Just nine minutes into the flight bound for Yamoussoukro, Côte D’Ivoire, the plane had to reverse course and make an emergency landing back at its departure point.
