In Ghana, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) say fuel prices in the country are bound to surge, if factors influencing pricing do not change or stabilise.
Some of the factors include the increase of crude oil prices, damage caused by Hurricane Ida to refineries and oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and the increase of gas prices, which has led to an increase in demand for oil .
