The French Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parly, arrived Monday in Bamako for a first meeting with the Malian transitional authorities, a week after the visit of the head of French diplomacy Jean-Yves Le Drian.
She told AFP that he trip is a continuation of this first very official contact between the transitional government and the French authorities.
According to her, the objective is to ensure the determination of the authorities to continue the commitment of the Malian armed forces in the various operations that they are conducting alongside France.
