A meeting between young Africans and French President Emmanuel Macron will commence today (Friday) in Montpellier, France.
The summit is being radically different this year as it only invites young Africans.
Previously, the summit hosted African leaders.
The meeting aims for its participants to envisage together opportunities and the first tangible actions to renew relationship.
For the first time, hundreds of young businesspeople, artists, researchers, athletes, students and prominent figures from Africa and France will meet together in the same place to achieve this goal.
One of the young Africans selected for this summit, Burkinabe entrepreneur Eldaa Koama, looks forward to an open and frank discussions with the French President.
