A wooden boat carrying nearly a hundred passengers and goods capsized shortly after taking off from the shores of a riverine community in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State in the South-South region of Nigeria.

Days after the incident that happened on Saturday, only four lifeless bodies have been recovered while the rest are still missing. 

As WADR’s Usman Umar in reports, a search operation is still ongoing by state maritime authority.
