Mali’s former energy minister, Lamine Seydou Traoré, along with two former EDM managing directors, On Monday, received a committal order from the Bamako Supreme Court.
This decision follows their arrest over a week ago by the Economic and Financial Pole in Mali’s energy case.
The charges against them include forgery and infringement of state property.
The situation also involves several other company executives who are currently in police custody. Their fate is expected to be determined in the coming days.
