A fire outbreak occurred Saturday, at Camp Samory Touré in Conakry, Guinea.
No casualty has been reported as the authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
However, there were images of thick smoke emanating from one of the country’s main military bases.
The Samory Touré camp is located on the Kaloum peninsula in the heart of the Guinean capital and houses the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of Arms.
This fire incident comes a few days after similar outbreaks affected the Ministry of Culture and the Foula Bah shopping center located at the Madina market which is the largest economic lung of Guinea.
