In Chad, the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) is warning of what it describes as the deportation of several hundred people arrested during opposition protests that turned bloody on Thursday October 20.
According to the Federation, the arrested persons have been transported to the north of the country, to an unknown destination.
It should be recalled that the Chadian Minister of Communication and government spokesman, Aziz Mahamat Saleh admitted that thatseveral dozen arrests have been made.
