A two-day conference aimed at protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development in the face of environmental degradation is underway in Dakar, Senegal.
The conference which began on Tuesday, brings together environmental experts, lawyers, policy makers and stakeholders to address pressing environmental issues in the West African sub-region.
The Conference themed; “Regional law West African environment: between ambitions and realities” is organised by The Laboratory of Studies and Research in Policies, Environmental Law and Health under the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the Cheikh Anta Diop University Dakar (UCAD).
Natural Justice and the Public Law Department of the Training and Research Unit in Legal and Political Sciences from Thomas Sankara University, Burkina Faso are official partners of the conference.
