A former Burkinabe Minister of Transport during the administration of ousted Roch Kaboré, Vincent Dabilgou, is currently facing allegations of embezzlement of public funds, money laundering, and covert funding of political parties.
Vincent was On Thursday, handed a sentence of eleven years in prison, with seven years to be served immediately.
He has been mandated to pay a substantial fine exceeding three billion FCFA to the national public treasury.
