The European Union Head of Diplomacy is rounding up his official visit to Niger after holding several meetings with stakeholders on topical issues.

On Thursday, Josep Borell hosted representatives from Agadez, a troubled region both on the security and migration front on issues relating to aid.

Borrell’s visit to the Sahelian state comes as the UN peacekeeping mission in Mali finalizes an agreement with the transitional authorities for its departure.
