More than six months since we first reported on the commencement of oil exploitation at Senegale’s Sangomar Oil Field, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mines this week announced that progress has been made.

According to the state, the oil field has surpassed the initial production target reaching over 17 million barrels of crude oil.
