Today’s edition focuses on Rural Women in Agriculture and the water crisis in the Sahel in relation to the 2023 International Day of Rural Women and World Food Day, with the theme Water is Life, Water is Food.
Also, Rural women in Agriculture across the subregion continue to face difficulties, despite campaigns and advocacies to improve the plight.
This was a discussion during an event to commemorate the 2023 Rural Women’s Day.
And the Director-General of the United Nations Food And Organization QU Dongyu delivered a message about the water situation across the world.
