ENVIROSCOPE – Flood Situation in Countries of the Subregion.

This edition of the program is a follow-up to a previous episode that aired several months ago highlighting measures being instituted by authorities in countries across the subregion to avert another flooding disaster similar to what occurred last year.

During that production, we featured experts and government officials in Accra, Abuja and Monrovia.

Several months into the season, WADR is taking to The Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria and Niger through reports and interviews on the effectiveness of the mitigation measures.

But as you will hear in the program, some capital cities yet recorded massive rainfall and flooding incidents.
