Workers of the Electricity Company of Ghana are agitating, asking for the removal of their Managing Director, Mr Kwame Agyeman-Budu.
According to the workers, mainly from the junior and senior staff association, Mr Agyeman-Budu was is mismanaging the company hence they want his immediate removal.
The demands of the workers come at a time when the country is experiencing widespread intermittent power supply, locally known as Dumsor.
In a press statement announcing their resolution, the workers also accused the Managing Director of breaching procurement processes.
