Campaign activities for the ensuing October to 2023 general and presidential elections commence in Liberia over the weekend, following the pronouncement by the electoral commission.

On the first day, the capital Monrovia was noisy as both supporters of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change and the opposition parties launched their campaign.
