A delegation from the global fund organization for education in emergencies and protracted crises – Education Cannot wait on Wednesday, arrived in the country on a three-day mission.
ECW Director, Yasmine Sherif, said she is in Burkina Faso to ascertain the education needs of children and youth caught in the multiple crises affecting the country.
According to Ms. Sheriff, a new funding will be announced to respond to the needs.
