The Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS will be holding an ordinary summit in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on December 10.

The summit comes under tense political and diplomatic context in the sub-region, especially with the latest coup attempt in Sierra Leone last Sunday.

Several other issues will be addressed by heads of state from the bloc.
