Leaders from the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS have announced the lifting of economic sanctions on Mali amid progress by the coup leaders to transition into civilian rule.
The regional bloc at a summit in Ghana’s capital, Accra expressed contentment at the new time table presented by the coup state following months of negotiation.
