This popular market is situated in Latrikunda Sabiji in the Kanifing Municipality of the Gambia.

Now the Kanifing Local Government Area has the largest population of any administrative district in the Gambia.

It includes Serrekunda, the largest urban area in the Gambia, and the Atlantic coastal resorts in which most of the region’s hotels are to be found.

The Latrikunda Sabiji market is popular for food provisions and clothing.
