This edition of Street Parliament comes from Ghana, where a section of the public has been sharing their thoughts on a private member’s bill submitted to Parliament by the MP for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu.

The bill proposes adjustments to the holidays celebrated in Ghana.

It aims to merge certain holidays and advocates for two additional holidays for Muslims in the country: one preceding Eid-ul-Fitr and another following Eid-ul-Adha.

WADR Accra Correspondent Naa Dedei Tettey hosted the parliament.
