The Dakar high court in Senegal has mandated the restoration of Senegalese political figure Ousmane Sonko to the electoral rolls.
Despite the initial decision by the courts to exclude him from the list, this reversal by the Dakar court, accompanied by official approval, has the potential to reinvigorate the candidacy of the incarcerated opponent for the upcoming presidential election in February 2024.
