A civil society organization in Niger, the Union Tillabery Committee for Peace and Social Cohesion, has expressed concerns about the security situation in the country.
They are calling for the departure of foreign forces from Niger due to the current management of the security crisis in the Tillabery region, which has experienced a surge in terrorist attacks since 2017.
The citizen movement released a press statement on Sunday in Niamey, denouncing the situation.
