The late former Ivorian President Henri Konan Bédié, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 89, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Pepressou in central Côte d’Ivoire on June 1, 2024, in a private family ceremony.
The funeral proceedings commenced yesterday, Sunday, in Abidjan and are scheduled to continue until June 2.
