President Alassane Ouattara’s proposal to revise Côte d’Ivoire’s Constitution, initially adopted in 2016, has been approved on Tuesday by both chambers of the Ivorian Parliament during a Congress held in Abidjan.

The project received significant support from parliamentarians, with 88.53% voting in favor, totaling 301 votes for, 35 against, and 4 abstentions.
