Cote d’Ivoire has officially become an automobile manufacturer. On Monday, Ivorian Prime Minister, Patrick Achi, launched the first minibuses of the Iveco Daily Ivoire Vehicle Assembly Unit at Sotra Industries, in Abidjan.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Souleymane Diarrassouba, indicated that according to the National Development Program 2021-2025, Cote d’Ivoire intends to increase the contribution of the industrial sector to the GDP to 30% like emerging countries.
