Côte d’Ivoire’s presidential election approaching in October 2025, candidates are beginning to declare their bids. Over the weekend, Pascal Affi N’Guessan was officially selected as the presidential candidate for the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI) during the party’s 5th Ordinary Congress.
The event, held at the Félix Houphouët Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro, drew 4,500 participants from across the nation. Affi N’Guessan’s nomination signals the start of what promises to be an engaging race as political leaders rally for support in the coming months.
