The Ivorian government has dismissed opposition demands for renewed political dialogue ahead of the 2026 presidential election.

This response follows calls from the PDCI, led by Tidiane Thiam, and the PPA-CI of former President Laurent Gbagbo, urging discussions on electoral processes.

Authorities insist that all election-related matters should be handled by the designated electoral commission.
