The 3rd edition of the Japan-Africa Public-Private Economic Forum commenced on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Abidjan, bringing together government officials, Japanese business leaders, and African employers’ organizations.

This high-level forum, which aims to deepen economic ties between Japan and African nations, features the participation of around 30 African ministers and other high-ranking representatives. Discussions are expected to focus on enhancing trade, investment, and public-private partnerships across various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and technology.

The event underscores the growing collaboration between Japan and Africa, with both sides exploring strategies to promote sustainable economic growth and address common development challenges.
