The trial of the September 28, 2009 massacre was postponed to February 20 for further proceedings.
The criminal court of Dixinn relocated to the Court of Appeal of Conakry announced on Wednesday after a hearing.
First, a lady who had been allegedly raped appeared before the court and testified – a hearing in which the defence lawyers, such as Pépé Koulémou, questioned the victim’s statements.
Meanwhile, the lawyers for the civil parties spoke of a victory because the victim had the right to speak arguing that whether or not the plaintiff was convinced, speaking out can be therapeutic for the victim.
The lady succeeded Oury Bailo Bah who appeared earlier as a civil party for having lost his child at the September 2009 stadium tragedy.
