In this edition of WADR’s community report, we shift our focus to the worsening sanitation crisis in Gueh town in the Western region of Liberia.
Sanitation is very poor, with the vast majority of people in rural areas lacking decent toilets and latrines, and having to defecate in the open instead.
Our correspondent Darlington Porkpa unearthed this crisis there.
According to the town folks, the lack of latrines and safe drinking water has become a challenge for over one thousand inhabitants exposing them to unsanitary conditions and other health challenges.
