In recent years the world has found itself grappling with an escalating crisis that poses a significant threat to the planet.

The burden of plastic waste; from clogging rivers or polluting oceans to contaminating landfills and endangering wildlife, the detrimental impact of plastic waste has reached an alarming level.

In this ever-increasing battle against plastic waste, a group of young children in a suburb of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, found an unexpectedly ingenious solution to that problem.
