In this edition of our community report, we take a trip to N’dar Island in St. Louis, Northwest of Senegal, near the mouth of the Senegal River, and 320 kilometres north of Dakar.
Even its location makes it a landmark. Sheltered from the ocean by a long sandbar “Barberie Tongue”, which is host to the traditional fishing village Guet N’dar – is a monument to the aspiration and impressive colonial sense of the past with every step we take along its narrow streets.
