Even after the June 5 World Environment Day, Climate discussions continued in Dakar – the Senegalese capital where the Chiekh Anta Diop University hosted hundreds of people.
Organised over the weekend, the awareness campaign brought together youth and women’s associations, farmers groups, innovators, climate experts and academics to strategise new measures in combating climate change.
The campaign centred on this year’s theme of World Environment Day, Land degradation, desertification and drought resilience.
