The administration of the state-run University of Liberia has temporarily suspended classes following a solidarity protest by students.
The students protested Monday on the main street of Monrovia in solidarity with their lecturers who downed tools over poor working conditions.
As classes remain suspended, the government through the ministry of finance says it will allocate money in the national budget to address the concerns of the lecturers, which includes low wages.
