The Chadian Constitutional Council has validated ten presidential candidates ahead of the May 6 elections that aim to return the country back to constitutional rule.
Son of former late president and interim president General Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, alongside the current serving Prime Minister Success Masra, are both on the approved list.
A female candidate, Lydie Beassemda is the only female and among those validated by the council.
