Chad’s transitional President Mahamat Idriss Déby has announced the deployment of 600 additional troops to Lake Chad.
On a working visit on Saturday, to Baga-sola in Lake Chad, General Mahamat Idriss Déby, announced that the additional deployment would complement the already 9,000 elements on the ground, to secure the population against the terrorist group Boko Haram.
