The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has revoked the licenses of 4,173 Bureaux De Change Operators over their failure to comply with regulatory provisions.
The list of affected BDC operators was released on the bank’s website.
According to the CBN spokesperson, Sidi Hakama, the institutions did not meet requirements such as payment of necessary fees, submission of returns, and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
