Human Rights Watch (HRW) has accused Cameroonian soldiers of killings, arbitrary detentions as well as looting of villages and health centres in the North-West region.
Cameroonian troops have been engaging various factions of separatists waging a war in the predominantly Anglophone regions in a bid to establish a breakaway "Ambazonian" state.
The rights group reports that government soldiers killed civilians and perpetrated various forms of abuses during military operations against armed groups.
