The Burkinabe government said it is awaiting a response from the Ghanaian authorities on its recent repatriation of its citizens who fled conflict to seek refuge in the country.
According to the Minister for Humanitarian Action Nandy Somé, Hundreds of its nationals who were denied entry into Ghana have found refuge in the border regions.
However, the Ghanaian government has refuted claims of repatriating Burkinabe citizens who sought asylum in the country.
