The Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) and the Police Mobile Intervention Unit Group (GUMI) say they carried out military operations that have led to the neutralization of several terrorists.

These military operations were carried out in Boucle du Mouhoun in the country.

The action, carried out by the Police Mobile Intervention Unit Group (GUMI) and the VDP happened on the night of Tuesday, August 6, 2024, during which several terrorists were neutralized and their military equipment was confiscated.

According to security sources, a joint GUMI-VDP team ambushed terrorists in Boucle du Mouhoun, on the night of the action, producing an impressive positive result, according to the same source.

Reports say that the joint team also confiscated military clothing, tapes, pharmaceuticals, food, mobile phones, shoes and tarpaulins in the possession of the terrorists.
