The United Trade Union Syndicate (UAS) of Burkina Faso, disapproved on Tuesday, the ECOWAS economic sanctions against Niger.

Sanctions will exacerbate the suffering of the already traumatized people of Niger, according to UAS.

The number one trade union center also opposed any military intervention aimed at reinstalling President Mohamed Bazoum.
