Burkina Faso’s military leadership has taken disciplinary action against officers at the Sebba detachment following a recent terrorist attack in the area. General Moussa Diallo, Chief of General Staff, reprimanded some officers for failing to follow military directives.

In response, General Diallo, along with senior military officials from Mali and Niger, visited the Sebba base to reinforce discipline and cohesion among troops. Their presence aimed to boost soldier morale and assess security measures in the Yagha province.

The visit underscores the Alliance of Sahel States’ (AES) commitment to strengthening regional security and counterterrorism efforts amid ongoing threats.
